Throughout India there are many thousands of homeless children with a dire future ahead of them. It is our work to provide facilities for these children to be cared for.



Everyone has a story. The children are brought into the home because of many differing circumstances; Parents who cannot cope with more children, Children who are simply not wanted, Children whose parents have died in accidents Etc. This little girl was not wanted by her family and her future looked grim. We were able to save her and now she will have every advantage possible being brought up in a Christian environment.



Sometimes it is possible to bring in whole families of children. It is good when siblings can be brought up together, not losing family relationships. These girls are sisters coming in from a tragic background.

Children's Home - Changdrigar, North India

In Changdrigar, North India, Light and Life is helping to build a home for mentally challenged Children. These pictures show some of the children as they praise and worship God with local school children.
